Your wedding film is a story written with your words

There is no better way to capture your wonderful and touching moments than through a professional wedding film. Even the best and most original photos will not reflect the true emotions present, such as the gleam in your eye, your trembling hands, or the tone of your voice during the exchange of vows. My job, as a true filmmaker, is to capture all of these precious moments and create something that will be indelibly yours forever. By watching your wedding film, I aim to help you rediscover these magical moments, reliving the wedding atmosphere again and again.

“Kate was a breath of fresh air and so lovely to work with (although I wouldn’t class it as work as it was way too much fun!) I also think there were some points when Kate was more excited for our wedding than we were (if that was even possible!) which definitely hyped us up even more!

On the actual day, Kate and her colleague/sister Rene were so much fun and helped us to keep calm when nerves were kicking in or if we were running late! If I didn’t have them as my videographers I would definitely loved to have had them as guests because they added so much joy and excitement to our day! They were genuinely happy for us and it showed both on the day and in their work!”

Frequently asked questions

Once you’ve decided to book me for your wedding, a will send you quote for approval thru my CRM system.
After when you accept the quote, you will receive a contract to sign and an invoice.
To secure your date, I ask for a 20% non-refundable deposit fee. The deposit is paid when the contract is signed, with the remaining balance to be paid 7 days prior to your big day.
Each payment is confirmed with email confirmation and receipt.

Absolutely!  Some couples book me right through the email or after a phone call, but I’m a bit old fashion person and love to arrange face-to-face meeting via zoom call. Link to my calendar where you can find my availability for a chat is here.

A month before your wedding, you will receive an email from me to arrange our first pre-wedding meeting. You will also receive another email with request to complete my “Couple Questionnaire” where you will write down all the details regarding your wedding.
During our 1st pre-wedding meeting we will go thru the questionnaire together to find out what we know and what we still need to find out about your wedding.
A week before your BIG DAY you will receive another email to arrange our 2nd and last pre-wedding meeting where we discuss the schedule one more time – usually at this time we should know everything and we will focus on timings.
And finally, during your wedding day – most important thing – relax and enjoy the life time moment!

Absolutely! I have worked with a variety of photographers over the years, the way I see it is we are both being paid to be there and capture the day – no sense in fighting over shots! If it is someone I haven’t worked with before, I usually like to drop them an email or message to say hi and introduce myself before the wedding. During the day, I will always discuss with him/her where I would like to place my cameras and what do I need during your session.

Lots of my couples felt exactly the same and during their wedding day they barely noticed me. Most of the time (especially during your preparations) I will be quite so you can forget about my presence and enjoy your day. I’m an expert of blending in and for most of the time I will be using a good zoom lens for my shoots so I do not need to be in your face to get a beautiful close-up.
I like to film the natural flow of your day so I won’t be asking you pose unless you would like to.

You don’t need to pose on your wedding day, unless you want to, of course. Everything I do is off script and all I need from you during our session is your beautiful smile and happiness. However as for your wedding film I need some movement, be prepared for lots of talking to each other and some walks.

For me audio is crucial so that’s why I have always carry with my all the different types of recorders and covers which are used based of your wedding location and weather.
Before the ceremony I will clip my recorder on to each speaker. Usually, one to the registrar or celebrant, one to the groom and another one to the bride, as well as anyone else doing a reading.
For my brides I do have a white recorder with white lav mic which is attached to the adjustable band and your leg. Both, microphone and recorder are absolutely not visible at all is totally comfortable when the bride walk.
Same applies to the speeches, so that I can record the best possible sound.
When an external microphone is used for your speech, I will also make sure that this microphone is also attached with my recorder as a back-up.

Unfortunately, not. Due to copyright licensing, I do not allow my couples to choose the music for the video. My choice of music plays an integral role in your wedding film; Once I have my vision for your film, I will carefully choose the perfect music which will help me to set a particular mood and pace of your film. If you refer to any of my previous wedding trailers or full edits you have watched on my website, you will notice that music chosen to my film very often match the narrative and helps me to create that amazing atmosphere you had on your wedding day.

I will only leave when I confident that have plenty of footage of your friends and family joining you on the dance floor.
Usually, it is 30-60 minutes after the first dance. Don’t worry, I won’t disappear without saying “Bye” 🙂

4-20 weeks depending on the season.  Average turnover time is between 8-12 weeks.  It is not uncommon for other editing studios and even photographers to take in upwards of 12 months or more to deliver a final product.  I’m the head editor and do the vast majority of editing, including all final and creative editing.  So as the wedding season progresses, we get busier!  Typically, there’s shorter turnover times early in the year (March/April) and longer turnover times later in the year (September/October).

Your finished wedding film will be delivered to you online, with your own private password protected gallery. You will be able to share your gallery with your family and friends and of course download all the content that is there.
However, if you looking for something more personal and unique, I do recommend my personalised wooden boxes that comes in 4 different colours and stunning USB – more details about my personalised wooden boxes can be found here.

Absolutely! I simply love travelling and I’m always up for a new adventure and more I do not charge anything extra for the destination wedding! All you need to do is to choose the package that suits you best from my current offer and we good to go.
However due to travelling abroad there is additional transportation costs such us flight, accommodation and meals which are quoted separately. The exact amount of these expenses will depend on the location and duration. However, if you have already been to a specific location and would like to offer suggestions on where to stay, I will always follow your lead!

I’ll travel anywhere within 100 miles of home for free, and anything beyond that is charged at 45p per mile.
If travel time is more than 3 hours, I usually need accommodation the night before (so that I’m there early enough to film you getting ready), and the night after (to make sure I can stay until the dancing starts). All I need is a room in a hotel somewhere nearby.

Yes, I am. All the details about my Public Liability insurance include drone insurance can be sent upon request.
